Black Tie dinner
The Great Hall - Bristol
Saturday 19th October 2019 - 7.00pm - 1.00am
What a great excuse for us all to dress up and celebrate together! We thought this milestone needed a grand location so will be holding this one off event in the Great hall at Bristol Grammar School.
Ticket prices include a 3 course meal from Kate's Kitchen, a local company who use local seasonal produce - as well as a drink on arrival.
The event will start at 19.00 with people being called to sit for dinner at 19.30
There is no parking at the venue so please make other arrangements
The dress code is Black Tie but please don’t think that ladies have to wear a floor length taffeta gown (although they are very welcome to of course), short, long, cocktail dresses or evening trousers are all fine and if gentlemen do not have a dinner suit then a normal suit or jacket is great
Dinner is a three course sit-down meal – menu is below. (Please can you inform your table host of any dietary requirements so they can send them to the organisers by 4th October – just total numbers (i.e. 8 x Pork, 2 x Vegetarian). Vegan, Gluten Free etc. options available just be sure to let your host know when you place your orders.
Pork rillettes with cornichons and croutes - can be wheat free (wf)

There will be a raffle and an auction on the night so please ensure you have some cash with you – there are no cash points near the venue the closest ones are Clifton Triangle
After the auction there is a live band with the event finishing at 01.00
We will be pre-ordering wine to raise money for the WPSA – a form for this will be sent to your table host. Additional bottles can be bought on the night from the main bar but they will be more pricey, won’t be the same type and won’t contribute towards our fundraising on the night. Please, please order lots – you do not want to risk running out or running low and any profit from the selling of wine goes directly to the WPSA fund. Additionally, there is a fully stocked bar at the event with beer and spirits and they can take card payments.
