HOW YOU CAN HELP...

COME ALONG TO MEETINGS

We hold WPSA meetings each term to which everyone is invited. The agenda is sent out to all parents before the meeting. At the meetings we discuss:

how much money we need to raise;
what events need to be run in order to raise the money;
what we are going to spend the money on (the fun bit!).

VOLUNTEER TO HELP ORGANISE EVENTS

Major fundraisers, such as the Christmas Fayre, are organised by a team of volunteers from across the school. In addition, each year group is allocated one cake sale and one event to organise, which are run by the class reps with the help of parents in that year group.Volunteers are often needed for a whole host of tasks including selling tickets, helping on the day, counting money after the event, etc. If you'd like to help with organising an event, please email us at: wpsateam@gmail.comIf you've volunteered recently and need to claim back expenses, click here to print a WPSA Expenses Claims Form.

DONATE TO THE SCHOOL

Some parents are able to give their time to organising or running events throughout the year. But what if you want to contribute but other commitments are preventing you from getting involved in a hands-on way? Well, there are other ways to help…

JOIN THE WESTBURY PARK GIFT AID SCHEME

Gift Aid is a way for UK tax payers to increase the value of donations they make to charity by allowing the charity to reclaim the tax they paid on the money they’ve donated.

SIGN UP TO RAISE MONEY THROUGH EASY FUNDRAISING

Easyfundraising is a way of raising money for the school simply by shopping online. It doesn’t cost you anything – when you make purchases through retailers who are signed up to the scheme they automatically donate a percentage to the school. Simple!
